Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Gymnastics Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching and teaching, with the ability to inspire and develop young gymnasts of varying skill levels. This role involves creating a positive and safe training environment while promoting fun and teamwork

Ideally you would already have a level 1 or above qualification in gymnastics

Duties

  • Plan and deliver engaging gymnastics lessons tailored to the needs of individual students and groups.
  • Teach fundamental gymnastics skills, techniques, and routines across various levels.
  • Ensure the safety of all participants by maintaining a clean and hazard-free training area.
  • Provide constructive feedback to athletes to help them improve their performance.
  • Monitor the progress of gymnasts and adjust training plans as necessary to meet their development goals.
  • Foster a supportive team atmosphere that encourages camaraderie among athletes.
  • Organise and participate in competitions, exhibitions, and events as required.

Skills

  • Proven experience in sports coaching, particularly in gymnastics or related disciplines.
  • Strong teaching skills with the ability to communicate effectively with children and young adults.
  • Excellent organisational skills to manage lesson plans and training schedules efficiently.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire athletes while instilling a sense of discipline and respect for the sport.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and first aid procedures relevant to gymnastics training.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £15.00-£18.00 per hour
