We expect all of our tutors to deliver their lessons with energy & enthusiasm so that students look forward to learning. They should have a passion for Science with the ability to explain concepts clearly & concisely to foundation students as well as the more advanced. Importantly, as the faces and representatives of Tutor World, we expect our tutors to act as leaders and role models — inspiring and making a positive impact on the next generation of young people.

Responsibilities:

- Assess students' academic needs and develop personalised learning plans

- Create engaging and interactive lessons to enhance students' understanding of the material

- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods as needed

- Communicate with parents and teachers to provide updates on student performance

- Collaborate with other tutors and educators to share resources and best practices

Skills:

- Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

- Knowledge of special education techniques and strategies is a plus

- Patience and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs

- Excellent organisational skills to keep track of multiple students and their progress

As a tutor, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on students' academic success. You will work closely with students, parents, and teachers to provide personalised support and help students reach their full potential. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From £25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:
