Unity Holidays is investing in a brand-new Festival Style Gardens development, and we are now seeking an enthusiastic and confident Activities Manager to help oversee the creation and future delivery of our expanded activities programme. This includes shaping and leading instructed sessions, crafts, archery, axe throwing, play zones and seasonal events as the new facilities open.
The Role
As Activities Manager, you'll oversee the safe, efficient and engaging delivery of all activities across the park. You'll lead and support our Activity Hosts/Instructors, maintain high safety standards, and ensure guests enjoy memorable, fun and professional experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day operations of all activity sessions and zones
- Support, coach and guide Activity Hosts and Instructors
- Deliver exceptional guest service across Festival Gardens
- Ensure full compliance with safety procedures, risk assessments and safeguarding
- Conduct on-shift safety checks and incident reporting
- Manage scheduling, team allocation and last-minute operational changes
- Support with admin tasks, equipment checks and stock control
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Experience supervising or leading in activities, leisure or guest-facing environments
- Strong awareness of activity operations, guest engagement and safety procedures
- Confident communicator with strong leadership skills
- Calm, organised and solutions-focused under pressure
- Passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences
Desirable:
- Experience delivering instructed sessions (archery, axe throwing, crafts etc.)
- Knowledge of children's activities or seasonal programming
- First Aid training (or willingness to train)
