Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Lettings Agent to join our dynamic estate agency team. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to develop foundational skills in property lettings, customer service, and sales within a supportive environment. The role involves assisting with property management tasks, engaging with clients, and gaining hands-on experience in the estate agency industry. Ideal candidates are eager to learn, possess strong communication skills, and have an interest in Lettings.

Duties

  • Assist senior lettings agents in managing property listings and marketing properties across various platforms
  • Engage with prospective tenants, answer inquiries, and schedule viewings to facilitate property rentals
  • Support the preparation of tenancy agreements and related administrative documentation
  • Conduct property inspections and ensure properties meet health and safety standards
  • Maintain organized records of client interactions, property details, and leasing activities
  • Participate in marketing campaigns to promote available properties through online channels and local advertising
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions promptly and professionally
  • Stay informed about relevant regulations including Fair Housing laws and local real estate legislation

Skills

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively liaise with clients and team members
  • Basic understanding of negotiation techniques to assist in client interactions
  • Knowledge of marketing strategies for property promotion is a plus
  • Customer service experience with a professional approach to client relations
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple listings, appointments, and administrative tasks efficiently
  • Previous administrative or Letting experience is beneficial but not required; training will be provided on property management systems and letting legislation
