Role Overview:As a KS2 Early Career Teacher (ECT), you will play an integral role in delivering outstanding teaching and learning experiences for students in Key Stage 2 (ages You will be provided with comprehensive support and guidance throughout your induction year and beyond, ensuring you develop into an outstanding teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual who is eager to learn, grow, and make a positive impact on the lives of young learners.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire and challenge students in Key Stage 2
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for all students
- Assess and track student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and enhance the learning experience
- Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and staff, promoting a positive school community
- Participate in professional development opportunities, including ECT support and training
Person Specification:- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or due to complete by September 2025
- A genuine passion for teaching and working with children
- Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessment practices
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire children
- Creative, adaptable, and committed to professional development
- A proactive approach to teaching with a focus on high standards of learning and behaviour
- A dedication to the safeguarding and welfare of children
