Coded Welder

We are currently looking to recruit a permanent Coded Welder to work on a diverse range of medium to heavy Mechanical Engineering projects.

We require fully skilled personnel to work on close tolerance work with a good all round engineering experience. Applicants must be time served or able to demonstrate a competency through experience within the workplace. Must be proficient in MIG/MAG/TIG welding; experience in medium to heavy MIG/MAG welding and previously qualified to ASME IX or BSEN 9606.

Ideal Experience:

• Experience within a fabrication environment.
• Experience in both medium and heavy MIG/MAG welding
• Qualified to ASME IX or BS equivalent
• Previously coded to a recognised standard
• MMA/FCAW
• Ultrasonic work
• The ability to read, understand and work to engineering drawings.
• Overhead crane operating experience.
• A high standard of safety awareness and housekeeping.

Personal Qualities Required:

• A team player willing to assist fellow colleagues.
• A good verbal communicator.

This is a permanent position which offers an excellent remuneration package including the following benefits:

• Excellent rate of pay and additional bonus scheme
• 37 hour working week - overtime payable on any additional hours worked over 37 and double time on Sundays
