JOIN THE CREWTON CARE TEAM OF SUPPORT WORKERS
Do you have experience working in the care sector with people with learning disabilities, autism or mental health, anxiety and challenging behaviour?
Do you have mandatory training, current DBS, experience, life skills or hobbies that you could share with the people we support?
We are looking for individuals with an excellent attitude to join our enthusiastic and creative team. Must be flexible to work some days and nights including some weekends.
Job title: Support Worker (NO SPONSORSHIP)
Location: Loughborough, Leicester, Leicestershire
Hourly rate: £12.85 per hour minimum

About the role:
We are looking for support workers to help our service users with activities of daily living, encouraging them participate in community activities, cook, clean, plan and coordinate their lives. We are looking for staff to promote life skills and independence particularly with all aspects of personal care, medication, appointments, activities, schooling and employment and help them participate in other outdoor activities. Plenty of hours
Responsibilities:
· Working in a person-centred way
· Personal care - No personal care involved
· Helping with daily life - shopping, preparing drinks and meals
· Supporting social activities - local support groups, visiting friends and neighbours, and other places of interest like the cinemas, library, parks, walking etc
· Helping individuals achieve their goals & deal with their challenging behaviour
· Safeguarding and working in the best interest of the individuals
Support Worker Responsible to: Registered Manager
An enhanced DBS check is a requirement for the role.
Experience required:
At least a year in the Care/Support Environment, Driving Licence mandatory, Care Certificate & NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care. UK driving experience a must.
