Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced tandoori Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the kitchen team to ensure efficient food production and service
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with menu specifications and standards
- Oversee food safety procedures, hygiene standards, and cleanliness within the kitchen
- Manage food inventory, ordering supplies as needed to minimise waste and control costs
- Develop new recipes and menu items to keep offerings innovative and appealing
- Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff to promote professional growth and teamwork
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
- Maintain organisational standards for presentation, portion control, and consistency
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
Experience
- Proven supervisory experience within a professional kitchen environment
- Extensive background in food production, culinary arts, and restaurant operations
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hospitality settings
- Experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, and menu development
- Prior hospitality or restaurant experience preferred, with a focus on serving high-quality cuisine
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
