We are working with a local practice to hire a client management accountant within their advisory department.

This position will involve preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts for a varied portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and clear financial insight.

It is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with clients, delivering meaningful financial analysis, and contributing to key business decisions. With a defined pathway for career progression, the role has the potential to grow into providing Fractional Finance Director services—offering strategic guidance and helping clients shape and manage their financial future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Management Accounting: Prepare and deliver monthly and quarterly management accounts and tax as and where required for a diverse client portfolio, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely reporting.

  • Financial Planning: Assist clients with budgeting and forecasting to support effective financial management.

  • Financial Analysis: Provide variance analysis and insightful performance commentary to guide client decision-making and improve outcomes.

  • Cross-Practice Collaboration: Maintain accurate, up-to-date accounts throughout the year to enable an efficient and seamless year-end process.

  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and nurture long-term client relationships by delivering reliable reporting and high-quality financial analysis that adds tangible value.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance existing processes, share best practices across the team, and embrace digital solutions to drive efficiency and innovation.
