Job Summary

Duties

  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with organisational goals.
  • Create, curate, and schedule engaging content across platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others.
  • Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and engagement opportunities, responding promptly and professionally.
  • Analyse performance metrics to optimise content strategies and maximise reach and engagement.
  • Collaborate with marketing, PR, and creative teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding.
  • Manage online reputation by addressing public relations issues swiftly and effectively.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to keep the organisation at the forefront of digital innovation.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in social media management or digital marketing roles.
  • Strong understanding of public relations principles and how they apply to social media platforms.
  • Excellent written communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to analyse data and generate actionable insights from analytics tools.
  • Organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling through digital content.
  • Knowledge of graphic design or video editing software is a plus but not essential. This role offers an excellent chance for a motivated individual to influence our organisation's online presence while developing their professional skills within a supportive team environment.
