We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a
Quality Assurance Inspector
to become a vital part of our onsite Technical Team at our Nuts & Dried Fruit facility in Telford. If you are passionate about Technical and eager to contribute to a dynamic team, this role is perfect for you

Position Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shifts as below

Monday - Thursday - 05:30 am -14:30 pm
Friday - 05:30 am - 12:30 pm
and
Monday - Thursday - 14:00 pm - 23:00 pm
Friday - 12:00 pm - 19:00 pm

• Location: IPL, Telford - Site Based
• Contract Type: Permanent

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Conduct thorough product inspections to ensure all products and packaging meet required specifications.
• Release materials promptly to production following successful completion of testing.
• Monitor and uphold compliance with Food Safety, Quality, Authenticity, and Legal standards across operations.
• Manage and control non-conforming products to maintain the highest quality standards.

What are we looking for?
Essential Requirements

• GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
• Must have prior food industry experience within FMCG, Manufacturing, or Retail.
• Strong IT skills, including confident use of email and accurate data entry in Excel.
• Resilient and able to perform effectively under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Assertive with the ability to challenge constructively.
• A genuine team player with a collaborative approach.
• Highly organised, capable of managing multiple priorities.
• Flexible and willing to adjust shifts to support team needs.
• Tenacious, with a strong drive to see tasks through to completion.

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

• Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Level 3 HACCP Certificate.
• Internal Auditing qualification.
• Previous QA experience within food manufacturing.
• Familiarity with root cause analysis techniques.
• Basic understanding of microbiology.
