Job Description

Equifind are supporting a global private equity and property investment group in their search for a Group Accountant to join their London team in Mayfair. 

Reporting directly to the Head of Group Reporting, this role offers broad exposure across the group's investment portfolio and the opportunity to work closely with teams throughout the business.

It's a dynamic, varied position — ideal for someone looking to make a real impact across both financial and operational areas. The business has been active on both the acquisition and disposal front, and as they move into the new year with a refreshed growth strategy, they're looking to further expand their portfolio into the hospitality and residential sectors as part of their long-term value-creation plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver monthly consolidated financials, including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow, with clear variance analysis.
  • Prepare quarterly and annual statutory reporting packs, supporting the year-end audit process.
  • Manage intercompany reconciliations and consolidation journals, ensuring accuracy across all entities.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and ad-hoc financial analysis for senior leadership.
  • Improve and streamline group reporting processes, systems and controls.

Candidate Requirements:

  • A qualified accountant (ACA/CA preferred).
  • Experience in the production of statutory accounts, including complex consolidations.
  • UK GAAP/FRS 102 experience. Experience with US GAAP and IFRS desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills and team working.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
