About the Role

We are currently seeking Bank Staff to join our dedicated domiciliary care team.

As Bank Staff, you will provide essential support to cover shifts, holidays, and increased demand periods. This is a flexible role, ideal for those who value variety in their work and wish to make a real difference in people's lives.

You must be trustworthy, reliable, and compassionate, with a genuine passion for helping others. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be working closely with clients, their families, and our care coordination team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centred care and support to individuals in their own homes
  • Assist with daily living activities including:
  • Personal care (washing, dressing, toileting, incontinence care)
  • Meal preparation and feeding support
  • Light housekeeping and shopping
  • Medication administration (full training provided)
  • Support clients with mobility and attending appointments or social outings
  • Offer companionship and emotional support
  • Assist with financial tasks if required
  • Undertake both day and night sits as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of care provided

Requirements

  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and short-notice cover
  • Ability to communicate, read, and write fluently in English
  • Compassionate, patient, and reliable
  • Enhanced DBS check required (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Must work to high standards of professionalism and confidentiality

Desirable

  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  • Experience in domiciliary or community care
