Join our team as a Health & Safety Manager (HSE Technologist) — a pivotal role where you'll be the site champion for Health, Safety, and Environmental excellence. You'll lead initiatives that strengthen our safety culture and enhance compliance,
What You'll Do
As our HSE leader you will report to the Site Manager and take overall ownership of all aspects of site health, safety, and environmental performance. You will:
- Champion continuous improvement of our HSE Management Systems.
- Ensure full compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, as well as all legislative requirements.
- Lead and support risk assessments and incident investigations to identify root causes and implement meaningful corrective actions.
- Drive and track CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) processes to completion.
- Act as the key liaison with internal and external HSE stakeholders.
- Plan and conduct internal audits, follow up on findings, and prepare detailed reports.
- Deliver clear, data-driven monthly and quarterly HSE performance reports.
What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone who combines technical expertise with a proactive, hands-on approach:
- NEBOSH / IOSH Certification – Essential.
- Experience in a manufacturing or COMAH-regulated environment (chemical or other high-hazard industries preferred).
- Team Management experience is desirable. High levels of clear leadership, communication, goal setting, delegation and collaboration skills.
- Proven ability to apply root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques.
- Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills.
- Internal Auditor experience, ideally with exposure to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice).
