We are looking for a skilled and creative Head Chef to lead the culinary operations of two connected restaurant concepts: our flagship full-service Mexican restaurant known for authentic, elevated dishes, and our casual sister restaurant offering a more relaxed, streamlined menu.

This role blends hands-on kitchen leadership, menu development, staff training, and operational oversight, ensuring both concepts deliver exceptional quality while maintaining their unique identities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all kitchen operations across both sites.
  • Develop and deliver menus suited to each venue's style—premium dishes for the restaurant and efficient, flavour-driven items for the bar.
  • Maintain exceptional food quality, presentation, and consistency.
  • Train, motivate, and support kitchen teams; oversee scheduling and staff development.
  • Control stock, ordering, waste, and food GP; manage supplier relationships.
  • Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and allergen standards.
  • Work with management to improve performance, guest satisfaction, and menu profitability.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in quality, high-volume kitchens.
  • Knowledge of Mexican cuisine or similar flavour-driven cooking preferred.
  • Confident leader with excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Strong understanding of kitchen financials and operational systems.
  • Passionate about flavour, consistency, and team development.

Job Type: Full-time
