ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a confident and self-motivated Finance Manager who can demonstrate strong levels of performance in this role. Reporting to the Finance Director, the successful candidate will manage a small team and be responsible for supporting the accounting function across the Eakin Healthcare business.
KEY ACTIVITIES
- Oversee the transactional functions for Eakin R&D and Eakin France
- Manage the AP/AR functions in the above-named companies.
- Accrual accounting and journal management.
- Line management of one direct report
- Prepare monthly Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Prepare legal entity trial balances for the above companies.
- Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements for the above companies
- Preparation of supporting schedules for Legal Entity financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with FRS102, local GAAPs and regulatory requirements in each jurisdiction
- Preparation of audit files for the external auditors and liaising with the auditors for the annual audit

KEY SKILLS

- Recognised accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACA, ACCA etc).
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of technical accounting.
- Good communication skills.
- Strong IT and Excel skills are required.
- Diligent and able to work efficiently with attention to detail, within required timescales.
