We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior SHE Advisor to join our Nuclear & Infrastructure Division, based on-site at Sellafield.

Our Nuclear & Infrastructure division has extensive experience in the specialist, highly regulated nuclear, transport (road and rail), process industries and power and energy sectors. Providing award winning design teams, utilising state-of-the-art design software and Tekla detailing facilities to offer customers value engineering. This gives a mix of proven success along with modern, innovative design and fabrication ideas to be able to provide a quality, specialised service to a growing market. They continue to set the

in their highly regulated market

Vacancy Details

In the Senior SHE Advisor position you will manage the site health and safety requirements and support the site and projects team with the day-to-day running of the one of our nuclear sites, actively assisting with SHE initiatives and safety alerts.

You will be required to assist with the review of risk assessments and operational procedures, and to complete SHE inspections on a weekly basis and accident and incident investigations when needed.

You will be assisting with toolbox talks, safety stand downs and carrying out monitoring (Hand Arm Vibration/Noise) to ensure compliance. You will also need to assist in Environmental and Sustainability related duties such as recorded data on project visits.

The ideal candidate will be someone who is able to build and maintain relationships across all levels of the business and with clients and principle contractors.

Key Skills & Experience

• Understanding of health and safety/ legislation.
• Preferred experience working within a steel construction environment
• Preferred experience of working in a nuclear environment.
• Preferred experience of carrying out inspections/audits.
• Experience of accident/incident investigations.
• NEBOSH General
• Computer literate with Microsoft experience – Word, Excel etc.
• Ability to communicate at all levels both internally and externally.
• Committed to continuously learn and develop.
