Role Description

This is a full-time role located across our north west sites and head office in Bury, Manchester for a Construction Contracts Manager. The Construction Contracts Manager is responsible for overseeing contract preparation, negotiation, and management. This includes ensuring compliance with legal requirements, coordinating with various stakeholders, managing budgets, and scheduling. The role also involves regular site visits and documentation to ensure contract adherence a driving our site teams through to the successful completion of a project.

Qualifications

  • Experience in contract preparation, negotiation, and management
  • Strong understanding of legal requirements and regulatory compliance
  • Project management skills including budgeting and scheduling
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with Civil Engineering and Groundworks projects
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is preferred but not essential.
  • Professional certifications in Contract Management or Project Management would be beneficial.
  • SMSTS, and temporary works coordinator preferable.
