Job Summary

The Rams Head Inn is a busy community restaurant pub in the beautiful Cheshire village of Grappenhall.

We are seeking experienced senior Chefs to join at a really exciting time for the pub restaurant business. We can offer the right candidates full or part time flexible hours accross the 7 day week.

The business is now established with consistent food trade and we seek a Senior member to join our pub family to take the kitchen and the team to new heights. Running the business and hands on operations of the kitchen alongside the owners.

Our vision is to create a fun, positive family working environment and grow the restaurant through professional standards, consistency and perfect execution on very plate to exceed our lovely customers expectations.

Duties

- A positive, team player with a professional work ethic. Experience cooking in a fast paced kitchen is essential. Understanding of branded menu experience would be helpful. Delivering the daily operations accross a 7 day and night kitchen operation.

- A hands on Chef is required, this is not an executive chef manager position. Cook and prepare a variety of dishes to pre developed menus and specifications.

- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support

- Ensure food safety regulations are strictly followed.

  • Understanding and delivery of kitchen management systems, including food stock, audits, ordering, training, recruitment.
  • Oversee kitchen operations to maintain a smooth workflow alonside our other senior chefs.
  • Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen. Ensure food safety and quality is maintained at all times.

Requirements

- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry

- Proficiency in culinary arts and food preparation techniques

- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations

- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

- Qualifications in Culinary Arts or relevant field would be advantageous

  • Positive and open culture of operation. Ability to work as a team alongside the hands on ownership team at the Pub.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From £13.00 per hour
