Are you an experienced care professional looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Residential Team Leader to join our team, supporting children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

About the Role:

As a Team Leader, you will oversee the daily operation of the home, lead and support a team of Residential Care Workers, and ensure high-quality, person-centred care for the children. You will act as a role model, promote best practices, and ensure the team delivers consistent, safe, and nurturing care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate, and support a team of care workers.
  • Ensure all care plans are implemented effectively and updated regularly.
  • Monitor the progress, wellbeing, and behaviour of children.
  • Record, report, and evaluate observations, incidents, and outcomes.
  • Promote positive relationships with children, families, and external professionals.
  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding and compliance with regulations.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Children's Residential Care
  • Automatic driving licence required.
  • Experience working with children with EBD or complex needs.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
  • Please note: We do not offer visa sponsorship.
