Today, Welbeck Street blends its historical medical heritage with modern uses, including offices, retail, and residential spaces. As a hotel since its inception, hospitality is at the heart of The Welbeck, allowing guests to Stay Well, Travel Well, and Be Well.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Shift Engineer based in London. The Shift Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of the hotel's facilities and equipment. The day-to-day tasks include performing routine inspections, diagnosing issues, and conducting preventative maintenance to ensure the smooth operation of the hotel. The Shift Engineer will also respond to guest service calls, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and collaborate with other departments to address any technical issues.

Qualifications

  • Experience in maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment
  • Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
  • Diagnostic skills and ability to conduct preventative maintenance
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Previous experience in a similar role in the hospitality industry is a plus.
