We are an all-encompassing Foodservice provider supplying Meat, Fish, Dairy, Fruit and Veg, frozen foods and dry goods to pubs, restaurants, care homes and schools across the Southwest, using our own fleet of vans.

Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled Buyer to join our procurement team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods and services to meet our company's operational needs.

Duties:

  • Identify suppliers, negotiate contracts, and place purchase orders

  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues to ensure timely delivery

  • Collaborate with the supply chain and logistics teams to streamline processes

  • Analyse market trends and pricing to make informed purchasing decisions

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Buyer in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build effective supplier relationships

  • Excellent analytical skills to assess market conditions and make strategic purchasing decisions

  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to work well under pressure
