About the Company

ABEC is a Building and Energy Management System Specialist. Our Product / Service Lines are;

  • New Build BMS & PMS Projects (Contracting).
  • BMS & PMS Maintenance and Remote Services and Monitoring.

This is a fast‐growing company operating in The UK & Ireland and Europe with exciting growth and expansion plans. The main offices are in Tewkesbury and Wokingham with most of the workforce being mobile or remote.

Purpose of the Role

The Key Account Manager will form part of a larger sales team whose common aim is to generate sales revenue and exceed order input targets from multiple existing and prospect new client accounts. The role will involve selling one or more of the following solutions.

  • Maintenance Contracts
  • Smart Hub (Monitoring Bureau) Services (SaaS)
  • Smart Buildings (IoT and Building Analytics)
  • Energy Monitoring and Reduction Solutions
  • Special Projects

The ideal candidate for this role will have received business to business sales experience as an Account Manager and is a high achieving, ambitious, and results-oriented individual. This role also calls for excellent relationship building skills and a passion for searching for a client's problems and providing cost effective solutions. The Account Manager will also utilise a Central Estimating Department to evaluate and create the quotations

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Achieve monthly order input for the selected services based on the sales targets provided.
  2. Be ultimately responsible for understanding the client needs, specification and be responsible to ensure all ABEC Quotations / Proposals meets the client's requirements and will fulfill their expectations.
  3. Be capable of presenting to clients in relation to introducing ABEC in general or for specific quotations.Ensure you always communicate ABEC's USP and Value Proposition.
  4. Develop and nurture relationships with customer stakeholders.
  5. Seek opportunities from within your accounts where our solutions will provide value.
  6. Manage and update the company CRM system.
  7. Adhere to the companies Key sales performance indicators.
  8. Build, manage, and develop a strong Pipeline.
  9. Attend trade shows, be active in networking on social media and get warm introductions to build your network.
  10. In addition to managing existing accounts, identify and develop new business client accounts.
  11. Provide Monthly Order Input, Revenue and Pipeline Reports including forecasting and probability.
