Job Description

Sports Direct is seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Casual Sales Assistant to join our team in Leeds, United Kingdom. As a key member of our retail staff, you'll play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and contributing to the success of our store.

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of our sports and fitness products to help customers make informed decisions
  • Operate the till and process sales transactions accurately
  • Maintain a clean and organised sales floor
  • Assist with stock replenishment and inventory management
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain high customer satisfaction
  • Participate in visual merchandising to create attractive product displays
  • Stay up-to-date with current promotions and offers
  • Handle customer queries and resolve issues in a positive and efficient manner
Qualifications
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
  • Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written
  • Basic numeracy skills for cash handling and sales transactions
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
  • Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Physical fitness to stand for extended periods and assist with stock movement
  • Keen interest in sports and fitness products
  • Previous retail experience is beneficial but not essential
  • Passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences
