Associate Director – Infrastructure Team Lead
to join the team to head up the new regional Yorkshire office. You will be expected to work with the team in Wigan while you establish and recruit your own design team. This is a
full-time, permanent
position.

In this role, you'll help lead our team, support key projects, and work closely with clients to deliver high-quality results. You'll also play an important part in growing the newly established Wigan team while supporting the development of junior staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, lead and deliver their departments workloads on all projects utilising members of their team, on time and on budget.
  • Liaise with the Regional Director on preparation of the annual Business Plan and Sales Forecast.
  • Liaise with the Regional Director and Administrator on monthly invoicing ensuring that sales targets are met.
  • Carry out their departments PDR's and have regular 'one to one' discussions with team members. Provide feedback on these to the Regional Director.
  • Provide a single point of contact within RSK on their teams projects.
  • Provide Expert Witness service where required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
  • Working knowledge of software used for design in their field
  • Project management skills using RSK procedures.
  • Understand and implement Designer's duties under the CDM Regulations 2015.
  • Working knowledge of the legislation and technical/design standards in their field
  • 10+ years experience in a relevant role
  • Educated to degree or HNC level.
  • Chartered or Incorporated member of an Institution relevant to their field (eg, ICE, IStuctE, CIWEM, CIOB) preferable but not essential.
