Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Fire Door Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting fire door surveys as well as preparing detailed reports based on their findings.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough surveys of fire doors in various commercial and residential buildings across London.
  • Assess the condition of fire doors and identify any deficiencies or non-compliance issues.
  • Document survey findings accurately and comprehensively, including photographs and detailed reports.
  • Provide expert recommendations for remedial actions to address any identified issues.
  • Collaborate closely with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with fire safety standards and regulations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to fire door safety.

Requirements:

  • Experience in surveying with a general understanding of fire safety regulations and standards
  • Relevant knowledge of fire door components and materials
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to conduct thorough surveys and inspections.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical information clearly and effectively.
  • Proficiency in using surveying tools and Microsoft excel for documentation and reporting.
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in fire safety or building surveying would be advantageous.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel using public transport to various locations within London and surrounding areas.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
