Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Head of Maintenance to join our estates team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the organisation's core operations and ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overseeing all aspects of Achieve together's maintenance operations
  • Including planning, scheduling and executing repairs and preventative maintenance to ensure the smooth functioning of facilities and equipment.
  • Ensuring all people we support live in a Good Home

Requirements:

  • Flexibility, able to travel to any home within the portfolio if required.
  • Qualification: hold a relevant Building or Facilities Management Qualification.
  • Experience: previous experience managing a large estates function, ideally within a similar environment.
  • Knowledge: Good all-round knowledge of building works and relevant skill sets to enable effective support for a team of maintenance operatives.
  • Organisational skills: Excellent time management, administrative and organisational skills. Initiative: Ability to use initiative and work with conflicting deadlines.
  • Approach: Ethical and professional approach, with ability to analyse complex scenarios to ensure best possible outcomes.
