Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of goods to our customers while maintaining the highest standards of service. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pick-up and Delivery: Collect a preloaded van from our warehouse and deliver them to customers within the designated area in a timely and professional manner.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly check and maintain the company vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Report any issues promptly.
  • Customer Service: Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner. Address any concerns or issues they may have during the delivery process.
  • Documentation: Accurately complete the digital delivery paperwork and maintain records of deliveries, mileage, and any incidents.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and driving laws. Ensure that packages are handled and delivered safely.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operations and assist with warehouse duties when required.

Requirements:

  • Valid Driver's License : Must hold a clean and valid UK driving license.
  • Documentation : Must have a valid Visa status to work in the UK.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a delivery driver role or logistics is preferred but not essential - minimum 6 months old license.
  • Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and carry heavy packages and work in various weather conditions.
  • Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and able to work flexible hours if required.
