The Role:

We are excited to welcome a friendly and enthusiastic individual to join our Leisure Team as a Pool Attendant. In this role, you will be based in the luxurious pool and thermal spa suite at Eden Hall, where you will play a crucial part in ensuring our guests have an enjoyable and safe experience.

The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for hospitality and a commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.

Your responsibilities:

  • Monitor the pool and thermal spa areas to ensure the safety of all guests.
  • Provide excellent customer service by enhancing our guests' experience and assisting with any inquiries or needs.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the pool and spa areas.
  • Enforce pool rules and regulations to ensure a safe environment.
  • Provide tours of the pool and spa facilities.
  • Perform daily inspections which include water testing and plant pool monitoring.
  • Provide cover at the gym reception.

Personal Specification:

Essentials

  • Applications considered from Age 18+
  • National Pool Lifeguard Qualification or Pool Responder Certificate.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and moving equipment.
  • Ability to swim proficiently.

Desirables

  • Experience within the hospitality industry.
  • Pool plant operation knowledge.

Shift Pattern:

  • Casual Contract
  • Hours of work: Between 7am and 10.30pm and will include a mixture of weekdays and weekends and holiday cover.
  • Full flexibility is key as you will be expected to work as and when necessary to meet the needs of the team and the business.
