The post holder will act as one of the expert resources for resuscitation issues in North Cumbia Integrated Care Foundation Trust. They will be responsible for contributing to the effective provision of a comprehensive Resuscitation Service and support the delivery of staff training in relation to the deteriorating patient, ensuring that systems are in place to inform staff of the Trusts' Resuscitation and other key Policies and Procedures, along with individual responsibilities related to resuscitation, specifically audit and post incident support and review.

The post holder will be responsible for contributing to the planning, implementation and delivery of resuscitation/clinical skills training, ensuring that eligible staff in the Trust are provided with sufficient training sessions to ensure that they are adequately and appropriately trained in resuscitation skills and the management of the deteriorating patient.

In conjunction with the Trust's Senior Resuscitation Officers, the post holder, as part of the Resuscitation Service will be responsible for the Trusts' compliance with NHSLA, CQC, NHSI and UK Resuscitation Council standards/guidelines, advising the Trust on resources needed to comply with those standards.
