Part-Time Sports Coach

Salisbury and surrounding area

Key Details:

  • Part-Time employment, 4-10 hours per week (subject to change)
  • Monday-Friday, term-time only
  • Breakfast, lunch and after-school clubs, (There is an option of additional hours working holiday camps)
  • £ £15.69 per hour (inc. holiday pay & dependant on experience)

We're looking for an enthusiastic and engaging Sports Coach to join our team, delivering high-quality, fun and inclusive sports sessions to primary-aged children during lunchtime and after-school clubs. For the right candidate, there may also be opportunities for additional hours delivering before school wraparound care, curriculum PE delivery (absence cover) and holiday camps.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about getting children active, enjoys working in schools, and is looking for flexible, part-time work in a supportive environment.

Your Role:

  • Plan and deliver safe, enjoyable and engaging sports sessions during lunch and after-school clubs
  • Create a positive, inclusive environment where all children can participate and thrive
  • Adapt activities to suit different age groups, abilities and needs
  • Build strong relationships with children, school staff and your wider coaching team
  • Appropriately manage the behaviour of all children participating within your clubs
  • Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and behaviour management policies at all times

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience coaching or leading sports activities with children aged 4–11 (essential)
  • A relevant qualification in sports coaching, PE, childcare or youth work (minimum Level 1; Level 2+ desirable)
  • A confident, positive communicator who can engage and motivate young people
  • Someone who's reliable, professional and takes pride in their work
  • A current first aid and safeguarding certificate is a bonus – but training can be provided

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £14.34-£15.69 per hour
