As a technology intern, you won't just be along for the ride. You'll work with our technologists and business experts to gain practical, hands-on experience that you can actually use. Our program combines traditional classroom-settings with project-based work where you can get involved with the products and services the firm is working on. Along the way, you'll have guidance from people at all levels of the organization so you can start to build a long-lasting professional network and build relationships with the intern class through interactive outings and projects.
As a JavaScript developer at Tradeweb you'll be working within a global team of developers building modern, complex and performant UIs and web services for clients to interact with our platform. Clients use our platform all day every day, so performance and testing is a high priority within our codebase to ensure a fast and reliable user experience. You'll be working contributing to our monorepo codebase writing Typescript using web modern frameworks and libraries like Angular, Next.JS and RXJS.
At the conclusion of your internship, you may be considered for full-time employment, to commence upon successful completion of your degree program.
Internship Requirements
- In your final or penultimate year of an undergraduate or Master's degree in Computer Science, or related field at time of application
- Knowledge of modern programming languages ideally with JavaScript or Typescript experience, either with a server-side runtime, like or through browser-based development.
- A background or interest in web technologies including JavaScript, HTTP, WebSocket's and other web APIs.
- Ability to take ownership of his/her work, working both independently and within a small team
- Detail-oriented coupled with exceptional problem-solving skills
- A passion for technology
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work 9 weeks on-site in Tradeweb's offices from 29th June to 28th August
