We are seeking to recruit an experienced dynamic and proactive Postgraduate Research Coordinator to join the Doctoral Academy in the Faculty of Science and Engineering (FSE).

The main purpose of this role will be to co-ordinate the delivery of Postgraduate Research (PGR) operations, wellbeing and support, recruitment and admissions, policy and governance or processes and systems (dependent upon assignment) and supervise the work of assigned colleagues in the delivery of these areas.

The post will be supporting critical areas within Wellbeing and Support, the post holder should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, experience of managing staff, able to use your own initiative, ability to manage busy workloads and prioritise to meet strict deadlines, be flexible and responsive, and share our commitment to our students who are at the heart of the University. You should have some knowledge and an understanding of the structures and processes within large complex organisations, ideally in student support within an HE environment.
