Responsibilities
- Prepare and and assist the cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.
- Assist in the planning and preparation of meals, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and of high quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen, including proper storage of food items.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal service during busy periods.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies when necessary.
Skills
- Proven experience in a restaurant or similar environment.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- A passion for cooking and creating innovative dishes that delight customers.
