This role will oversee planning, delivery, and implementation of cloud migration projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and with minimal disruption to business operations. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and business stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition and alignment with organisational goals.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Delivery
  • Lead the planning and delivery of cloud migration projects from initiation through to completion.
  • Develop clear project plans, milestones, and reporting processes.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors to ensure successful delivery.
  • Monitor progress, manage risks, and resolve issues to keep projects on track.
  • Ensure projects are delivered within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Stakeholder Management
  • Act as the main point of contact for all project communications.
  • Build strong relationships with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Communicate complex information in clear, accessible language to non-technical audiences.
Cloud Transformation
  • Oversee the migration of systems and services to Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud platforms.
  • Work with technical specialists and partners to ensure smooth transitions and minimal disruption.
  • Support the adoption of new cloud-based tools, ensuring users are engaged and well-informed.
  • Help define success measures and ensure post-migration benefits are realised.
Governance & Reporting
  • Manage project governance processes, including reporting, risk management, and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection, security, and organisational policies.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership teams on project progress and outcomes.
Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation.
  • Capture lessons learned to improve future project delivery.
  • Promote best practices in digital transformation and change management.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience managing and delivering Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud , migration projects.
  • Strong background in project planning, delivery, and stakeholder engagement .
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud ,
  • Experience working in multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Professional project management certification (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP, Agile) is desirable.
