We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data and AI Consulting Manager to join our Data & Analytics Consulting Practice. This is a pivotal leadership role, combining consulting expertise with deep knowledge of data and AI technologies, to drive outcomes for clients in our specialist industries — higher education, travel and transport, retail, and hospitality.
You will lead consulting engagements that help our clients unlock the value of their data and AI investments, while also overseeing the design, development, and implementation of AI-focused accelerators that simplify and accelerate data enablement. You will manage project teams, work closely with senior stakeholders, and contribute to practice growth through thought leadership and capability development.
Overall, you will be responsible for ensuring measurable client outcomes while advancing Enfuse's position as a market leader in data and AI consulting.
Key Responsibilities
Client Delivery
- Lead end-to-end consulting engagements, from strategy and architecture to delivery and assurance.
- Translate client business objectives into actionable data and AI strategies, solutions, and measurable outcomes.
- Oversee the design and build of modern data platforms and accelerators across Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, and cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Ensure governance, standards, and compliance are embedded in all client solutions, aligned to industry best practice.
- Manage client relationships at senior levels, acting as a trusted advisor and escalation point.
People & Team Leadership
- Manage and mentor Senior Data Consultants and other team members, providing coaching, career development, and performance feedback.
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance consulting culture.
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, and the ongoing capability development of the consulting practice.
Business Development & Growth
- Shape and promote Enfuse's AI-enabled data accelerators (e.g., architecture patterns, dbt frameworks, governance toolkits) to simplify and accelerate client outcomes.
- Contribute to business development by supporting proposals, pitches, and client conversations.
- Develop thought leadership on data and AI trends, with particular relevance to our specialist industries.
- Help refine Enfuse's service portfolio and go-to-market strategies to align with evolving client needs.
Requirements
Essential
- Strong consulting background with experience in data strategy, architecture, governance, analytics, and AI enablement.
- Demonstrated leadership in delivering cloud-first data platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and modern warehouse/lakehouse technologies (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery).
- Familiarity with dbt, orchestration tools (ADF, AWS Glue, Google Dataflow), and CI/CD frameworks (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.).
- Deep understanding of data governance, metadata, and compliance (GDPR, PCI, etc.).
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with proven ability to engage senior executives.
- Strong problem-solving and structured thinking skills, able to synthesise complexity into clear action.
Desirable
- Direct experience in higher education, travel and transport, retail, or hospitality.
- Knowledge of real-time data processing (Kafka, Kinesis, Pub/Sub).
- Familiarity with customer data platforms (CDPs), loyalty systems, or marketing analytics.
- Awareness of AI/ML integration in operational environments.
