Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and organised Rental Agent to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing rental enquiries, assisting clients with processing vehicle rentals and returns.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong communication skills and administrative experience to thrive in a dynamic environment. The Rental Agent will play a vital role in ensuring smooth rental processes and delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to rental enquiries via phone, email, and in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
  • Assist prospective tenants with property viewings, providing detailed information and answering questions
  • Maintain accurate data entry of rental applications and client information using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel programmes
  • Organise appointments and coordinate schedules efficiently to optimise viewing times
  • Prepare rental agreements and related documentation with attention to detail
  • Liaise with maintenance teams to coordinate property repairs or inspections as needed
  • Ensure all client interactions are professional, courteous, and aligned with organisational standards
  • Keep records organised and up-to-date to facilitate smooth rental transactions

Experience

  • Previous administrative experience is preferred, ideally within a vehicle rental environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel is essential for data management and reporting tasks
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional phone manner
  • Experience in customer service or client-facing roles is beneficial but not mandatory
  • Knowledge of property maintenance procedures is a plus but not required
