Job Description:

The Part 2 Scaffolder will be responsible for the erection, alteration and dismantle of scaffolding operations as covered by their CISRS Part 2 training and assessment, including all basic structures and those covered in TG:20.

Experience of working in all categories of scaffolding, Commercial, Domestic and Heritage, inc Streetworks is preferable.

This job is physically demanding and requires heavy lifting of scaffolding equipment in the scaffolding yard and on-site. You should be capable of carrying out all tasks connected to the loading, erection, alteration and dismantle of scaffolding. In addition to this, you should be capable to setting an example to less experienced team members and ensure jobs are completed in a timely manner using all resources available.

You will also have the ability to work efficiently withing a Team and hold good communications skills.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the loading and unloading of scaffolding equipment on site and in the scaffolding yard.
  • Erect, alter or dismantle scaffolding as required to specifications as instructed by Scaffold Management.
  • Use equipment safely in conjunction with job specific Risk Assessment & Method Statement – in accordance with recognised scaffolding standards and current practices.
  • Working in all weather.
  • Assist in ensuring scaffolding equipment is safely loaded to vehicles.
  • Maintain knowledge, skill levels and continual professional development to carry out duties effectively.
  • Ensuring scaffolding equipment is safely stored on-site.
  • Adhere to all Health & Safety policies and regulations.
  • Ensure all tasks are completed within agreed timescales.
  • Maintain good housekeeping on-site and in the scaffolding yard.
