An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Electronics Engineer to join a growing technology company in Livingston. As a Senior Electronics Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and validation of electronic systems used in industrial and energy-related applications. The role of Senior Electronics Engineer will involve taking technical ownership of hardware designs from concept through to production, working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of analogue, digital, and mixed-signal electronic hardware
  • Undertake schematic capture, PCB design, and component selection
  • Support prototyping, bring-up, debugging, and validation in the lab
  • Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and systems engineers to ensure robust integration
  • Contribute to design reviews, documentation, and compliance activities

Requirements

  • Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong experience in electronic circuit design, PCB development, and lab validation
  • Exposure to power electronics, industrial control, or energy systems desirable
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to take technical ownership
