Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating forklifts to load and unload materials, ensuring efficient movement of goods within the facility. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to wrap pallets for collection.

Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts to load and unload materials from lorries and storage areas.
  • Move products throughout the site using appropriate equipment.
  • Conduct regular inspections of forklifts and report any mechanical issues for repair. .
  • Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring all goods are accounted for.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety standards. .
  • In spare time maintain external areas of site and assist with factory labouring

Qualifications

  • Valid counterbalance forklift operator certification is essential.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Experience with pallet handling.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
