Job Purpose
Your role will be to operate filling and associated equipment effectively to ensure that we meet production targets at our mortars and coatings manufacturing site in Leyland. We will look to you to ensure operating procedures are followed, uphold quality standards and meet plant targets of safety, service and costs.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work safely & to the highest H&S standards.
  • Prepare, load & fill ingredients for specified product recipes.
  • Operate & ensure safe running of mixers following standard operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver improvements & reduce wastage.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to resolve equipment problems, support repairs & manage product changeovers.
  • Ensure appropriate production pre-checks are undertaken to minimise line downtime.
  • Maintain good housekeeping standards.
  • Record data for KPIs analysis

Job Requirements

  • GCSE / A Level qualification / NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent).
  • Qualification in English and Maths.
  • Experience of production within the manufacturing sector.
  • IT literate & comfortable using computerized systems/equipment.
