Job description

NICHI is an exciting new Sushi and Robata concept recently opened in the Trafford Centre. We are a Fresh and Exciting Japanese-Peruvian restaurant providing a high quality dinning experience and elevating the center's food offerings. Menu items include top grade products such as Japanese A5 Wagyu Beef, High Grade Sushi, as well as our popular Bento Boxes.

We are looking to expand our FOH staff as the business grows and expands including a soon to be opened renovation upper floor dinning space that provide potential to host premium events.

We thrive on delivering high standard dishes to our customers and our attention to detail is the forefront of our service.

We are looking for enthusiastic, passionate waiters to help us continue catapulting Nichi to success now that we are getting busier.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Providing an exceptional service to our guests, focusing on delivering a memorable experience

· Having a high quality knowledge of our menu offering, taking guests food orders and processing them through our EPOS system

· Adhering to allergen and food handling procedures

· Processing card payments accurately

· Table management and cleaning

· Daily opening and closing tasks

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

NON-NEGOTIABLES

·Experience as a waiter in a upscale restaurant

· Friendly personality and positive, can-do attitude

· Experience in a full service restaurant

· Reliable (no calling in sick after that big night out)

· Willingness to work in a team environment and work as a team player

· Excellent time management (no rocking up late with half-baked excuses…)

· Willingness to learn and constantly improve on current skill sets

BENEFICIAL BUT NOT ESSENTIAL

· Familiar with Japanese cuisine & ingredients

· Basic wine knowledge
