We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Media Planner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing strategic media plans that deliver outstanding results for our clients. As a Senior Media Planner, you will leverage your experience to identify target audiences, recommend the best media channels, and work closely with cross-functional teams to create innovative campaigns that align with client goals.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with clients, media strategy, and account teams to understand business goals and establish effective media objectives and strategies for campaigns.
• Utilize research tools and data to develop actionable insights and media planning strategies.
• Analyze demographic and behavioural data to identify target audiences for digital and offline media channels.
• Evaluate a wide range of media vehicles and suggest innovative ideas to effectively reach target consumers across multiple platforms.
• Lead the development, execution, and management of media documents, including media schedules, plans, and budgets, ensuring projects stay on track and within budget.
• Oversee daily tasks and work with cross-functional teams to develop proposals and evaluations that align with campaign objectives.
• Monitor and optimize media campaign performance, providing strategic insights and recommendations to improve results.
• Conduct regular analysis of monthly performance data and present findings to clients and internal teams.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance media planning strategies.
• Mentor and support junior media planners, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
• 2-3 years of media planning tenure, preferably in an agency setting.
• Global media planning experience; mix of media planning skills strongly preferred with a heavy emphasis on digital
• B2B marketing focus on past employment, particularly at an Agency
• Experience in managing Publishing partner relationships, both online and in-print
• Proven experience across multiple media types, including digital, Publishing and Outdoor.
• Strong working knowledge of industry-standard media research tools that can help inform media recommendations.
• Exceptional analytical and mathematical skills.
• Demonstrated ability to contribute innovative ideas that go beyond media-specific tasks.
• Ability to maintain composure and deliver high-quality work under pressure.
• Strong organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• A team player with excellent communication skills.
• An inquisitive and curious mindset with a passion for media planning.
