As we continue to grow, we're looking for an ambitious, detail-driven Trainee Commercial Buyer / Trainee Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team.

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone currently studying Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Commercial Buying, or a related degree who wants to develop their skills in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

You'll gain real project experience while being mentored by experienced commercial professionals. Expect to work on live hospitality fit-out projects from day one.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with cost planning, estimating, and preparing tender documents
• Supporting material purchasing, supplier engagement, and procurement scheduling
• Helping prepare valuations, variations, and final accounts
• Maintaining accurate commercial documentation and project cost reports
• Conducting site visits to monitor progress and support commercial decision-making
• Working closely with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors
• Ensuring materials and subcontract packages are procured on time and within budget

What We're Looking For

• Currently studying a relevant degree (Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Buying, or similar)
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Confident communicator with good negotiation ability
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Eager to learn, proactive, and comfortable working in a dynamic construction environment
• Passion for the hospitality and fit-out sector is a bonus
