Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery setting. This role involves providing high-quality care and education for young children, fostering their development through engaging activities, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.

We are looking to employ a nursery practitioner for everyday , term time only

Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
  • Supervise and engage with children during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development, providing feedback to parents as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to create a supportive team environment that encourages professional growth.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the nursery setting.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance skills in childcare and early childhood education.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
  • A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Strong management and leadership skills to guide junior staff members effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • A genuine passion for childcare and the ability to create a stimulating learning environment.
