Our independent garage in Hook, Hampshire continues to grow thanks to a strong local reputation, trusted workmanship, and a loyal customer base. We're now looking for a skilled Vehicle Technician or Mechanic to join our friendly, professional team.

This role is ideal for a hands-on technician with an NVQ Level 2 or above in Light Vehicle Maintenance who enjoys varied work, problem-solving, and maintaining high standards. From routine services to complex diagnostics, you'll be working with modern equipment in a workshop that genuinely values its staff.

The Role: What You'll Be Working On

  • Servicing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles across a wide range of makes and models
  • Identifying and fixing mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic systems (Snap-On, Bosch, Autel, Launch, and more)
  • MOT preparation and repair work (if qualified)
  • Keeping your bay clean, organised, and safe
  • Communicating clearly with the team to support smooth daily operations

What You Need To Bring

  • NVQ Level 2 or above in Vehicle Maintenance (Level 3 is a bonus)
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Proven experience with general mechanical work, including brakes, clutches, suspension, and diagnostics
  • A strong work ethic, reliability, and a keen eye for detail
  • A willingness to keep learning — EV training is provided
