Support Worker/ Social Buddy – (Chester Area)

We require an enthusiastic and caring individual to assist a
19-year-old male with ASD and ADHD to access the community. He enjoys visiting Chester Zoo, going for walks, visiting cafes and the family encourages trips out.
This role will require someone for either Tuesday or Thursday evening, 6.30pm-9.30pm,
3 - 4 Saturdays per month 9am- 4pm and possible additional days and evenings. We can be flexible with hours and additional shifts would be on an ad hoc basis.
We are looking for someone who enjoys being out and about and can remain calm under pressure. Having your own car is essential and we will pay petrol costs.
Training will be provided but experience of Autism would be an advantage but is not essential.
A DBS will be paid for by the employer.
Hourly pay rate is £13.00 per hour.
