Taxi Driver

About the Role:

We are seeking reliable and professional taxi drivers to join our team in the Stowmarket area. The role involves providing safe and friendly transport services for a variety of clients, including regular school runs, local journeys, and contracted work within Mid Suffolk.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out scheduled school runs and transporting local clients.
• Providing excellent customer service to all passengers.
• Ensuring vehicles are kept clean, roadworthy, and compliant with licensing standards.
• Following all road safety and transport regulations.
• Handling fares and maintaining accurate records where required.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years holding a valid UK driving licence.
• A current Mid Suffolk Taxi/Private Hire Driver Badge (or willingness to obtain before starting).
• Good knowledge of the Stowmarket and Mid Suffolk area.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.

Desirable:

• Previous experience in passenger transport or taxi driving.
• Flexibility for both school run times and occasional evening/weekend work.

Pay: £97.68-£249.96 per day
