Contract Administrator

Assist in the optimisation of in contract commercial opportunities, project costing and submission of applications and invoicing. Working alongside relevant project managers to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget with an acceptable level of risk.
What you'll be doing:
- Work alongside the Projects team and Contract Administration Manager on in-life contractual issues and disputes to ensure EH margins and programmed lead times are protected
- Administering and maintaining monthly applications and invoices as per contractual requirements
- Early Warning/Compensation Event administration and monitoring. Ensuring contractual response times are adhered to.
- Complete regular cost assurance exercises to ensure committed cost values and final invoiced values are in line with price lists/quotations obtained at tender stage.
- Assist the Commercial Manager(s) in negotiating incoming terms
- Provide extra resource to the Tendering team to prepare and analyse project costings for tenders including materials, quantities, labour and time
- Operate a feedback loop / lessons-learned to improve future contracts
Who we are looking for:
- Experience of engineering or civil works
- Familiarity with NEC suite of contracts and their function
- Sound commercial acumen and ability to communicate effectively
- GCSE grades A-C English and Maths plus relevant A-level or similar post-16 education
