We are seeking a highly motivated Quantity Surveyor (QS) with proven experience in civils, steelworks, and onsite surveys to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for civils, steelworks, and survey activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Conduct onsite surveys to gather precise measurements and data essential for project planning and cost management.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to monitor project progress and identify potential cost overruns or delays early.
  • Manage procurement processes by sourcing materials and subcontractors, negotiating prices, and maintaining supplier relationships.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all quantities, costs, change orders, and contractual documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Perform regular site visits to verify quantities, quality standards, and compliance with safety regulations during construction phases.
  • Utilize data entry skills to update project management software accurately and efficiently while ensuring data collection is thorough and reliable.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a focus on civils works, steel structures, and Civil works and onsite surveying activities.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards related to to all construction projects.
  • Excellent communication skills . with MD and other employees
  • Proficiency in data collection tools, typing speed for efficient data entry, and familiarity with market research techniques relevant to construction procurement.
  • Experience conducting qualitative research interviews or site inspections is a plus.
  • Demonstrated phone etiquette and telemarketing skills can enhance client interactions and supplier negotiations.
  • Ability to work independently with strong organizational skills while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
